Felice (they/them) is a Jamaican-American comic artist who made the jump to tattoos when an apprenticeship at PSTC reared its head. They did permanent marker tattoos in the laundry room at debate camp in high school, and this was the logical next step. They write indie comics, design band posters and wrestling tee shirts, which they’re finding their way to translating to tattooing! Black and white independent comics, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon cartoons, Japanese woodblock prints, and the illustrations in the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark book series are very big influences on their art.

Outside of tattooing, Felice loves horror movies and pro wrestling. They wrestle in a local queer league, but are on hiatus as they learn this new skill. They live with their partner and their cat. They identify as a dirt goth, which means they have seen both Iggy Pop and Siouxie Sioux live.

Specialities

Felice would like to work on black and grey tattoos with dot shading and full color pieces with unexpected color palettes. They’d jump at the chance to do classic comic panels and hope to do a Nancy panel one day. As an apprentice, they want to try a lot of things in a lot of styles as they find their own niches.
