COVID-19 Policy
Our COVID policy is subject to change as new data becomes available.
This policy is updated as of May 11, 2022 and remains current.
Our latest COVID-19 policies will take effect starting May 16, 2022. These guidelines are non-negotiable and failure to comply may result in cancellation of your service and forfeiture of your deposit. Thank you for understanding!
Testing. In order to get tattooed, please take a rapid COVID-19 test the morning of your appointment. The sample must be collected the morning of. Please take a picture or screenshot of your test result to show us in the shop.
Take-home tests can be found with relative ease at pharmacies like CVS, Walgreens, Wegmans, etc.!
If you have an active health insurance plan, please note that your insurance carrier is legally required to cover the cost of up to eight FDA-approved at-home tests per month! Please consult this mass.gov webpage to learn how to have your test costs reimbursed.
Vaccination. You must show proof of vaccination to enter the shop. Please do your best to obtain your booster shots if you haven’t already!
Masking. You must wear an N-95, KN-95, or KF-94 mask to your appointment. If you cannot provide one of your own, we can give you one when you arrive for your appointment!
Please come alone to your appointment. If you need someone with you for medical reasons, let us know in advance, they will also need to take a rapid COVID-19 test.
Consultations. In an effort to reduce the number of visitors to the shop, most consultations will be virtual until further notice.
If you feel sick, LET US KNOW before your appointment and STAY HOME! Even if you test negative for COVID-19, please do not come in if you are actively experiencing symptoms. We will happily reschedule you, regardless of the illness.
