Arran V. (he/him) started tattooing in the UK in 2016 where he learned the craft from his mentor, Stoy Junx. Arran’s devotion to art and tattooing shows in his bold and often colourful work. Drawing inspiration from graffiti, skateboard graphics, lowbrow art, comic books, botanical illustrations, and horror movie posters, Arran’s unique colour combinations, and dynamic compositions are easily recognisable.
Outside of tattooing, Arran is interested in science fiction, cryptozoology, skateboarding. He’s obsessed with punk rock, hip hop, and metal music, having played the drums since he was fifteen.
Specialities
Arran specialises in bold, colourful neotraditional work, flowing watercolour tattoos, finely shaded blackwork, and aggressive, unreadable lettering.
He is well-versed in cover-ups and can accommodate covers and reworks of old tattoos or tattoos over scar tissue (as long as they have healed enough to be tattooed!)
